Special attention has been given to monuments and commemoration elements which represent lives lost in the Gaza Strip.

Their location has been identified in advance and teams from the MOD's Bereaved Families and Commemoration Department will supervise their removal.
Later on they will be relocated according to the families' request. A new monument commemorating the soldiers and civilians who lost their lives in the Gaza Strip, is planned by the MOD in Nizan.
This whole complex process requires utmost sensitivity. Every effort is made to ensure that the dignity of the people involved and their feelings are respected.
