Accessibility Statement
Making the Israel Ministry of Defense Website Accessible to People with Disabilities
The Israel Ministry of Defense (IMOD) places utmost importance on adapting its website for users with physical, sensory, and cognitive disabilities, based on the principle that all people should have equal opportunity and access to services and information.
The IMOD has invested significant resources in making the website accessible, enabling the majority of the population to navigate it easily and comfortably and to enjoy the services and content published on it.
Accessibility Features on the Website
• Full use is possible via screen readers used by blind users.
• The website allows text enlargement using the CTRL key and the mouse scroll wheel.
• Navigation and orientation tools on the site are user-friendly.

• The site does not include flashing or moving content (e.g., animations or moving text). If such content exists, it can be stopped.

Accessibility Limitations
Pages marked with the accessibility symbol may also display tabs of information and content from websites or systems that have not yet been made accessible, as part of the effort to present integrative information from various sources. Since the Ministry has substantial content of this type, based on inaccessible technology from previous generations, a special effort will be made to make it accessible to the AA level gradually.
